I am absolutely speechless on this one. Every job has their bad apples but here’s a stand out for sure. Due to the setting the excuse of “maybe he had a bad day” is unacceptable in this case as far as I’m concerned. Being a team player I try to stick up for my colleagues in blue when I can but I have no defense for this agents actions other than pure stupidity. I hope he’s riding the desk.

And this is why glock's suck. You don't know if it's cocked and there's no way to uncock it.

That has nothing to do with the gun. They guy never looked at it after he released the slide.
Besides... there's no difference in how one should handle a cocked/decocked/unloaded gun.

"I am da only one I know dat carries a Glock"
heh now your the only one you know that shot himself with a glock

I own a Glock 23....I have never had an issue with knowing if it is "cocked" or "uncocked" beacuse every time I handle the weapon I remove the mag and check the pipe. I thought that was a basic rule. Seems to me it is not the issue of the gun...but rather the issue of the stupid oscar moron handling the weapon.
That would have never happened if he had followed basic fundamentals of gun safety.
Peace out

That guy is a bright spark! Having met and worked with some of our fine constabulary I'm bloody glad they don't all carry guns! Think of the carnage!

Glocks do not get "cocked". They use a striker that is not pulled back except by the trigger spur when the trigger is pulled.
