OK,
I have a CD image with a bunch of file labled xxx.001, xxx.002, xxx.003, etc and one labled xxx.sfv
basically the same name with a number after it... Whats this compressed with? how do I uncompress them and run it?
-
you need hjjoin (google it).... sometimes winrar will work (sometimes not).
....and stop downloading porn movies, you'll grow hair on your palms.
-
If I remember well, the .sfv file is a text report on the quality of the compressed files.
Open the .001 with Winrar is my best bet as well.
-
Thanks folks I got by doing just that.. you have to select the .001 file only and force it open with winrar. Anything else does not seem to work.
Another beef, why do programmers feel the need to do a system check and fail if they do not see what they want? I have win2003 serv on this machine and it faulted out because the system check was looking for xp. Beyond the stupidity of the programming team, it would have installed and ran just fine.
