err btw whats the best 3d soft ac3d lol?
-
Depends on what you want to do with a 3D software and how much you want to pay for it :) There is no simple answer.
Ac3d is the one HTC is supporting in AH2 Object Editor. But ac3d can also import several file formats so basically one can use just about any sotware which exports or saves e.g. *.dxf files.

what do u use?
-
I use Alias WaveFront because I can use it at work and I have learned it several years ago. It is kind of heavy software for just simple polygon models though. It is used e.g. in car design.
If you are new to 3D modelling, I recommend using a program that feels easiest and meets your requirements. Ac3d is not a bad choice and it is not too expensive either.
...off to bed now, already past midnight :)
