While we no longer exist as a squadron in Aces High, many of our former members still exist in-game. I'd just like to thank them for being part of our squadron's history, and wish them all success for the years ahead. Hopefully we were as big a part of your lives, as you were to ours.
former 441 Silver Fox, and 416 Lynx pilots! It's been a proud history of kicking bellybutton all through the air combat community.

MANX, Those were some good times. Take care and hope all is going well for you.
-
4 wing.
never in your AH squadron, had a short but very fun time with you in wwiionline until i cancelled account though.
-
I had a blast while in Aces Hondo. It was definitelly a lot of fun on the big squad runs. I especially remember the one we did with the mossie attack.
Was fun flying you with WWIIOL. I'm certain you'll be back someday. The squads pretty much doubled from when you were last flying with us, and the Spit9 finally showed up along with the P38 and 190.
PS Hondo! Love the avatar! Think I'm hypnotized.

wow!! 11 years that is great.:aok congrats
-
Yep, glad to say I was apart of it all before it ended.
It was a complete blast.
Never will I forget the endless hours of winging with Gball in 51s and getting into hotter water than we should have been in, but we someone would manage to kill em all and make it out alive. Altho I did sacrafice my poor pony to save his 30 kill run 51 marathon. You still owe me for that punk.
And oh yeah... Shawk. What would a squad vox be without Shawk. :D Enough said!
Fact is, everyone in this squad was top notch and when we were on, we were on. It was great.
Where the heck did SFOX/POINTMN go??? Uped and vanished!
Manx was also another dweeb. Fun as hell to fly with and even more fun to see him get into it with someone on Ch1. Ahh yes Ch1. :lol Just aint the same.
4wing
Miss you guys. :(

I remember a run one time in Boston's damn near taking a bish HQ base with them as I recall. While I dont fly with the 4 wing anymore I still drive my Pony B around on my own.
to the 4Wing.

Manx
First time I came into AH, I saw your name and remembered you from AW. You let me "ride along" on a couple of flights so I could start to figure this all out. You and your guys were always class acts, whether fighting with you or against you!
Happy 11th, 4WING!

Manx. It was a good time. If you ever leave that *other* game you should come fly a few nights. Not only do we have the spit9, but also 3 variants of the P38 and an almost new ki84 which noone flies anymore =)
Hope to see you around soon.
-
Heh, thanks Howie. I think I'll be in the "other game" for a while now. It's not because Aces High isn't a great game, I just got burned out with it a bit and found myself playing less and less....then not at all.
I talk to SFox on the phone every couple months, and he's doing very well. He's spending time with his family, and working on their business together. I'll say a quick "hi" next time I talk to him for you Jeff.
-
Well Ill be damned
MANX where da fug you been? And how you been doing?
<---/IT\

When I started AW, Manx was there to take me in and teach me some chit. And then he did it again in AH :) Thank you for the fights and lessons. lol I was even a member when 4 Wing was just 416 Lynx And after 8 years of flying with and against the 4 Wing, to this day they are still one of my favorites. People are mentioning the "newer" members of 4 Wing. Lets not forget people like: YES, Omni, and Hi*Iq just to name a few.
4 wing.

To be honest Manx, i very much doubt i will go back.
Would love to see you back in Aces High though, never did get chance to fly with you apart from a scenario frame :)

Pardon me sir, but if you check my stats from at least the last two tours you will see no n1k runs.. Prior to that I just flew them for some balance in my diet :D
-
niki pilot is a state of mind, not a job description. :D

Can honestly say, never flew an La7 or a Nik in the MA to my knowledge. Not that I shouldn't have I suppose, just neither plane interested me much.
Ps. The Tiffie Rocks! I did play with Mustangs and 38's now and then too though....both decent planes in their own rights.

S-Fox is alive and well in Warbirds. Always at the top of the fighter scoring, always holding his E, and as deadly as ever. I have never seen him thump his chest, blow his own horn, complain or talk trash. After more than 6 years in AW, AH and WB, he is one of those (2 or 3) who are in my "most admired of all time" category.
s-fox
eh? (AW, AH)
aka
snofox (WB)

been there done that, 4Wing Happy B-day...
Manx see ya in de other game:D
-
Manx!
Yea, I up'd an A20 - and you swooped down in a 38 five or six times. The MA was never the same for me or AKAK after that. 38 dweebs for life!

Congratulations on 11 years.
Definitely one of the premiere squads of the virtual world. 4Wing's skill and discipline made them a formidable enemy at every encounter.
They were probably also one of the first AW RR squadrons to show that they could go toe to toe against the best that the FR/AH world had to offer.
