Dang! That's one hell of a good formation you got there Stream!
I thought it wasn't possible due to connection trouble.

Raptor01 and I did some measurements, when he formed on me, he saw me 50 yards off, while I saw him 100 yards or more. Even though it was a very tight formation.

Stupid connection...

Yeah, it gets easier with time, it's just most guys are 2D pilots.  If they don't see their wingman in the front windscreen, they are blind to them.  They have to look left and right to get it tight.

Finger Four was mainly used for showing off to the ground crews, combat formations were more line abreast.  Mutual Support.
