Title: Air Show...
Post by: slimm50 on March 22, 2005, 07:35:25 AM
April 23 - 24, at Lonestar Museum of Flight in Galveston, TX. Guests include Paul Tibbets and Tex Hill. For any who can make it, this is always a very nice show. Not as crowded as the Wings Over Houston show. Admission $10/$5: worth it at twice the price.

Damn.  As usual they hold it on my reserve drill weekend.  I was there a couple of weeks ago and couldn't believe how far along they have come with the Privateer.  Really nice flying museum.

Don't forget The South Texas Shootout (https://nascc.cnatra.navy.mil/shootout/index.html) featuring the Blue Angels April 9/10 at Corpus Christi NAS. Free admission to the public.

I plan to attend the Sunday 4/10/2005 show, and would love to hook up with anyone here for that and perhaps a nice dinner afterwards before I return home.

My profile e-mail works, use subject header Aces High to avoid my spamfilter. If interested, let's exchange cell #s and get together there.

Davis Monthan  Aerospace days will be held April 2nd and 3rd in Tucson Arizona. The T-birds will be here. It is free again this year as well. In past years it has been a great show with both military and civilian performers.

Since I have to be in Tucson at the same time I guess I'll force myself to go. :D  Anyone else going to make it. I can get a few beers at the class 6 store. ;)

The Midatlantic Air Museum is holding their annual World War II weekend this year at the Reading Airport.

Dates are June 3,4,5, 2005.

Hopefully the weather will be better this year that weekend.
