Good thing Yeager "shot down" his first jet in real life, and not AH....otherwise it would have been a ditch, and no kill in yeagers text box

Of course Yeager and company weren't playing a game, and didn't worry much about getting WTGs in a text box to prove they were fighter pilots :)

Well....if u thinkabout it...why the hell was chuck yeager flying in a pony anyways?  I mean for that time period, the allies must of had a mininum ENY of atleast 12.6 right?

Weird, I just saw Yeager today on TV talking about his Me-262 kill.
He also spoke about how he was shot down.


As you all probably know he caught the 262 trying to land, he "fired from about 200 yd's and got a good concentration on the right wing".
Yeager "It wasn't very sporting but........" shrugs shoulders.
(Can you hear the screams on  200 if that happened in the game?)

Yeager was tail end Charlie guarding B-24's when the 190 jumped them, Yeager tuned to confront him.
He was shot down by the 190 on a head on pass. The 190 took off his right wing, the prop flew off and the plane caught fire over southern France.

400mph landing wheels up on  country side terrain, while crashing off trees and ripping everything off but the cockpit and live.
