These really look awesome. I too hope my PC can handle them. Otherwise tax return is spent. HT can you let us know if this will effect FPS any? Probably will, but maybe give us an idea?
Looks like these clouds will be able to totally cover a target area also. High alt buffs will have a tough time dropping anything accurately through that kind of cover.
Hmm... This will be fun! (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

Also the safest altitude for goons might not be NOE anymore (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

i think it will be more realistic good clear weather above crappy below imagine dogfighting down through the clouds and losing your target only for him to get the angle and turning the tide of the fight and becomeing the victor of the fight or diving down through the cloud deck and attacking a base below without the enemy seeing you coming! i think it will put a new twist in the game along with some new planes (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

has this been asked yet?
where will the cloud layers occur? - i mean will they only cover certain areas, will they drift? will we sign on one day to clear skies and overcast the next? it will affect strat if one area is always cloudy - and the realism would be great if we signed on not knowing what to expect - or took off in nice weather and ran into a heavy cloud layer later -

I may now have a hope in hell of catching targets unawares (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

both myself and swoop (i think) asked this at the same time last night, and HT said that the FPS were comparable to what your current FPS are when around a cloud bank.
Cool, eh!?!

Will there be icing? There's also that nifty halo you see around the shadow of a plane over the clouds...
Ok ok perhaps I'm asking for too much already (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)
