I was driving across 380 heading East near Princeton close to 5:30 last night and saw a T-6 and a RV-4 doing a little play fight near a private field called the 'cotton patch'... wasn't you was it?

It may have been an 8, didn't get a real close look at it . Funny to see how really small it was flying formation with a T-6. It wasn't one of the Cavanaugh Flight Museums T-6's that are normally up there giving rides. Looked like a T-6 I see parked over at Aero Country with a black and white checker tail.

""and saw a T-6 and a RV-4 doing a little play fight near a private field ""
Isn't that incredible to watch? Our r/c field is very close to a local airport, and you can see the practice area from the field....a local pilot flies a super decathalon, and flies in mock dogfights against a buddy of his in an RV6. we've also seen him go against a cessna 150......i never knew a 150 could do some of the things i watched this one do.
the decathalon driver is an ex F4 driver btw.........i've flown with him.....very skilled
have fun guys1

As Bob shaw describes it. Areobatics are just fore play to dog fights.
