Title: Analog CH Pro Ped Question
Post by: Max on March 28, 2005, 10:04:23 AM
I'm melding some analog Pro Peds into my Fighterstick USB and Pro Throttle USB set-up. I bought the radio Shack Gameport-Usb adapter, which has 4 option settings 1. game pad, 2. joystick A, 3. joystick B, 4. wheel. I've got it set to joystick A.

WinXP sees the adapter but only recognizes the Z axis...sliding the pedals back and forth. Is there a way to get use of the peds pumping them up & down, and having the back & forth motion set to toe brakes? I'd even settle for the up & down peds...mainly to keep the base from sliding all over the place.

Any tips?

Thanks,
DmdMax

Max,
set the slider to #2 joystick A, is the only way I got mine to work.  I have the same gameport to usb adapter you got from radio shack

the Z axis is the rudder axis if I am not mistaken. I use option #2 on the adapter slider and have full flight controls running it thru my analog gear Fiterstick/rudders

I just having trouble getting my hats and buttons to work, but have found a work around I think

also, have you tryed option #3 joystick B yet? that might work also.  But with #2 joystick A selected it should show up as your usb adapter along with the usb fiterstick/throttle as well so you should be able to pick and choose which control you want for rudder ( being usb adapter)  I got mine to calibrate in windows and it works fine in game
