HT,

is it possible to have planes like the F4Us and F6s which had folding wings, have them unfold as part of startup especially when they are on CVs.

Yup.

 But Allah is in the details.

 Useless stuff can sometimes, increase immersion to incredible levels. And in that case, it's not useless at all - it highly improves the way how we see the game. :)

 Think about the;

* gun flashes reflected on the fuselage
* spent shell casings dumped
* gun smoke
* visible rudders/stick in cockpit

 and etc etc.. these are all 'useless stuff' which was introduced in AH2(well, the gunflash thing in AH1..) - which made the game cooloer!

 So bring on the 'useless-but-cool' small stuff to AH2!!

Folding wings would be a neat (if completely useless) gimmick, but I'd much rather see the additional coad going into something like.... perking the la7 or maybe even...... Spanish Civil War

It would be cool for the purpose of emersion into the game.
But there really is no need to champion one perticular cause or its converse because ultimately the bottom line is we are buying their product, therefore they control the play and we are merely actors with the option to comply or leave :(   Other than that I have fun here:)

If we do this, I want the option to damage the control that makes them fold up and down added.  That way I can smack your F4U, and watch the wings fold up in mid-flight while you spiral to your death   :p

You know... I'm really not sure, but I figure if the pigs are flying around an ice covered hell and HTC actually implements this I figured I could request something and have a chance that it gets implemented as well.  :D

is having the wings unfold any different then having the landing gear show retract and extend?  atleast u would see the wings do it. u never see gear move unless u watch another plane.

They do move when extend/raise, fly H2H more often :)
