Why some of them actually believe this...
"The defense of one's self, justly called the primary law of nature, is not, nor can it be abrogated by any regulation of municipal law." - James Wilson, The Works of James Wilson, 1896
amazing ain't it?

Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership
not sure why, but this just cracked me up. I picture Woody Allen leading a march.
-
Funny, I picture 2 millions dead Jews instead of 6.
-
Because they go, "Bang!Bang" instead of with no other option.

No offense...but the excuses the politicians use for passing the Gun Control laws are just as bad and sometimes worse than that...there's problems on both sides of the fence.

Right. After the first 2 million, the other 4 had some idea. I won't argue the gun laws with you, since I just don't know, but I will say the Jews didn't have enough guns, whatever the law was.

If they had organized some form of resistance perhaps, but no ... after the first two million they still didn't know exactly what was going on. Relocation in the East ... many Jews went quite voluntarily to get away from the anti-Jewish German population. Little did they know.
The Warsaw Ghetto uprising was a realitively organised resistance, and was crushed - as were all the jewish revolts. It did not stop the holocaust for a second, more likely re-affirmed their efforts.
You're right, most were told where to assemble - and they did voluntarily. To say if the jewish populace across europe were armed at home and would've prevented or stifiled the holocaust are idiots.

This is the fact that surprises me why not all Jews are Conservative.

You are aware that Hitler Disarmed all gun holders right? (Only after having everyone's guns registered. Beginning to see a pattern?)

Not sure what you meant by posting this...but I'll bite, b/c I'm bored at work (and my name IS James Wilson, LOL!)
I'll just ask, do you believe that I should not be allowed to defend myself (with a gun)?
I'm not a gun-toting member of a separatist militia, but my wife and I have had 2 very specific threats/actions made to/against us to which law enforcement officials basically said "nothing can be done". Since they could do nothing, we were left to our own devices, which may have meant defending ourselves. Isn't this a basic right? Or in the words of the quote above a "primary law of nature"?
I have since moved and left the gun we kept with a relative, but in light of the quote (and your comment) I just felt obliged to respond.

Well hmmmmmmm......
OK .......
To me ..... reality is such that a 250lbs fresh outa prison workout yard guy with a pipe, or 2x4, or length of chain, or knife, or ??? can do pretty much whatever he wants to an unarmed person he might catch somewhere all alone.
To me ..... if one of the two must die, I would prefer it be him and not his victum.
To me ..... if neither one dies but one is left in very bad condition, say crippled for life and/or maimed, I would prefer it be him and not his victum.
To me ...... the person going about their life troubling no one but minding their own affairs verses someone intent on harming others for their amusement or advantage, is the more worthy of the two. I vote for the peacefull mind their own business individual.
Furthermore IMHO someone's childhood may have been terribble BUT it is an invalid excuse for committing ANY crime!
Furthermore I'm REAL tired of getting BLAMED for their childhood!
To me ..... the things I own are not mere material objects but also represent my life. In that I have spent hours of my life earning them.
To me ...... when someone, anyone, violates my home, my property, my family, my person, or my rights without an extremely good reason AND a properly issued warrent, I get, justifiable IMHO, angery.
SSSOOOOO IMHO if you are one of those individuals that basically goes through your life with NO intent to amuse yourself, or seek an advantage, by using violence on your fellow human beings .........
then not only do I believe you have the RIGHT to defend yourself, family, rights, property, etc.....
BUT it is your DUTY! Your duty to yourself, your family, and to society. As we are all depending on you. All happy that you exist.
IMHO the firearm is the equalizer! Be you a 98lbs vs the 250lbs, male or female, old or young, if that 250lbs of trouble comes your way, you have the ability to stop them, with deadly force if necessary.
If i'm on the jury that hears the facts and the facts state you were defending, then NOT GUILTY!
Don't care what the judge says. And a bad law IMHO is far worse then NO law. My duty to myself and my fellow humans when I am on a jury is to look at the facts and consider the issues and vote my beliefs. Not be forced by any Judge, or law made by a politician, to vote against my belief. I believe that is also my right!
I very firmly believe in individual rights. That's why I have such a difficult time voting democrate any more. Can give you some quotes made by some dems that turn me away form them. Same with some republicans.
Was being sarcastic I guess......
If you find my post on any other thread relating to firearms and the right to own and bare them you will see the above is the case.

I was aware of the disarmament of jews only. AFAIK the law never touched other citizens of the reich and it was just one article in the long list of removal of the rights of the jews.

THIS JUST IN:
Apparently Britney Spears doesn't want any beef with Paris Hilton — or her lapdog, Tinkerbell, either. In the wake of her boast, "I think my dogs are so much cuter than Tinkerbell," Spears has now released a statement on her Web site saying, "I was just being silly and of course I think that Tinkerbell is very cute." The pop diva even hopes to set up a play date for their miniscule canines.

I like this one
Large commercial aircraft would not be destroyed by a few holes in the fuselage. Even if cabin depressurization occurred, this would only rip the airplane apart if it happened to be in a movie at the time.
Did anybody see the episode of MythBusters where they disproved the "explosive decompression" thing? Thought of that show when I read this, had to laugh. :)

Right. After the first 2 million, the other 4 had some idea. I won't argue the gun laws with you, since I just don't know, but I will say the Jews didn't have enough guns, whatever the law was.
Let me explain:
Most german jews moved to poland before the war.
They were allowed to serve, and served in Polish Armed forces in 1939, some with distinction.
Right after end of hostilities, they were rounded up in Gettos. Arms were laid down by all, poles and jews ( except for underground offcrouse ). They had no idea what was coming, nothing in the past told them it would happend. So when first 2 millions died, 4 may have had an idea, but they were starving in the gettos, with no access to arms. When they did, Warsaw Getto uprising started in 43 ( arms were delivered by Polish Underground ) but it was a short and local affair. Too few able bodied man, too few arms, too little training.
