Howdy. While posting in another thread I had an idea that I think would help anyone interested in training. Anytime you have your thoughts in order and on paper, you tend to be more organized and efficient. For this reason, I'm going to be creating the following:
MS Word or .pdf checklist for trainers. Sort of like a lesson plan, except it gives things to them in the exact order they would use it on a flight.
Engine startup, basic taxiing and takeoff.
Cleaning up the airplane
Maneuvering
Landing
Once someone has figured these things out, cards for Rocketry, bombing, shooting and strafing
Carrier landings
Formation flying (I teach this because inveitably it helps with dogfighting, as dogfighting is a very rigorous formation flight)
Basic ACM (Immelman, Split-S, Turns)
Advanced ACM (Yo-Yo, Scissors, Rolling Scissors)
If anyone here has any tips, hints or suggestions please post them and I will try to incorporate the best/easiest/most effective ones into the cards in hopes of at least teaching from a standardized base of information.

I have posted a pretty decent carrier landing training guide on our squadron website at http://www.vf-17.org. If you think it can help please utilize it or if you think of something we should modify/change please feel free to let me know.
Its in our Officer's Quarters section under Library.

Outstanding, thank you! I will check it out and I appreciate the offer.
To anyone who browses in here, I'm looking for anything that you may view as helpful or just a tip/rule of thumb that you use to help get the job done. Something I think is easy may not be for someone else so I'm looking for a very wide knowledge base to eventually cook down into an easy to use guide.
Thanks!

It's already being handled by the Training Corps.

That's good to hear, Ren.
If any kind of official, or semi-official "training program" is documented among the AH Trainer corps, I'd like a copy too.
I wish to translate it to our language and set it up at our squad website, so our countryfolk who have problems with the language barrier can also try their hand at Aces High with a reasonably good training guide.

I think we can work that out once we are ready for release. We may have to put you
