some idiot somewhere decided it would be a "smart" idea to switch the schools network from novell, to microsoft...which is bad because EVERY school and library in the region is on it...

Your post is so cryptic there isn't any information to draw any type of conclusion. I suppose you don't like microsoft but other than that what is the problem?

Ahh yes, morons indeed.  I love that word.

My company also thinks it a good idea to get rid of Novell.  Or should I say the morons in the decision chair.

Oh, I am so looking forward to moving a few thousand acitve printers from NDPS to the MS printing system.

They have already moved to Landesk in favor of Novell's remote and push capablilties.  What a piece of junk that software is.

This is JOB SECURITY.

Every IT guy in the department has years of being indispensible ahead of him/her now.
