Very good game.  Barcelona losing 2 games 4-2 on the trot, i wonder how this will effect them.  The Liverpool/Juventus champ league game last week was good too.

BlueJ there is a lot of politics in Real Madrid.  There are several players that are the "untouchables", they'll be picked regardless of their current form, or rather lack of it.

Looking forward to tomorrows Chelsea/Barcelona and wednesdays Liverpool/Juventus matches:)

Was a great game to watch Real Madrid vs Barcelona, and Owen scored:) .

Wldthing they have already done the Chelsea vs Barcelona game and guess what you was wrong Chelsea beat them;) .

Can I take the winnings now:).

Chelsea play Bayern Munchen tonight, am hoping Chelsea will take that as well.

Liverpool vs Juventus is a harder one to call I did not expect Liverpool to beat Juventus when they played the first game, but they did and I got a sneaky feeling Liverpool will get throught now.

why did i think it was barcelona?.:D   That's why I shouldn't post late at night.:)

Should Liverpool score first i think they'll be ok.  If Juventus score an early goal it 'll be very interesting.

Watching the Juve-L'pool match right now, so far so good (0-0). I'm not a fan, but I'd like to see Liverpool continue... (Go Hyypiä! :))

If you enjoyed the Barça-Madrid match you should have watched games from FC Barcelona from the beginning of the season... that was something!

It's all been downhill from the middle of the season. Still I believe we'll win the title.

That's not the one where the fans threw lit road flares at the goalie and other players was it?

I'm not sure why any athlete in any sport would ever want to play in such a city.  Aside from the question as to why the police allowed so many fans to bring and throw flares without shutting down the event, who would want to go to a city where they get assaulted by people who won't let them play the sport they're allegedly there to watch?

I guess I'm not ready to enter the world society 'cause like most other Americans, I just don't understand why this is acceptable.

Oh yea, I almost forgot... HIJACK ALERT!!!!1

ROFL.

great call there...

LOL

Juventus vs. Liverpool, perhaps the most boring champions league game this season.  Juve's motivation was awful, was like they didnt care.

All english semi final should be great, smart money (unlike wldthings) is on a Milan Vs. Chelsea Final...

Chelsea gonna be CL winners this year, Jose Mourinho gonna give UEFA a torrid time - that guy is so funny.

Not so sure about that now...

Momentum is with Real,  Barca's defence is struggling at the moment..

The problem in the last match is that the manager decided to go with two players who just came out of injuries or illnesses... they may be amazingly good, but today's football is 70% physique, so it wasn't IMO, a good call.

My money is with Barcelona. R. Madrid may have the momentum, but it's not playing good football, and any team that doesn't have a big name can beat them.

Liverpool had 8 players injured so i was quite surprised Liverpool made it through.   I'm glad Juventus lost at their own defensive game:D

blueJ try not to watch too much Italian football if you can (except perhaps AC milan).   Unless of course you can't get to sleep, italian football will help for that.

i'm curious as to what actions UEFA will take against Italian football.  Italian hooliganism is at the same level in english football 20 years ago with bjects being thrown, fans charging police etc. Incidents at Scotland/Italy, Inter/AC Milan, Lazio/Livorno..... the list goes on forever this season.

UEFA needs to take action.  IMO they should ban all Italian sides for a couple of seasons, though that's based purely on the way they play football.:D   Seriously though, if inter aren't banned for a season + other Italian teams to clean up their act UEFA is even more of a farce than i think it is.
