I'm thinking of picking up a CH Pro Throttle USB to use with my MS Sidewinder Pro FF stick and was wondering if the CH Pro Throttle USB will work without a CH Product type Joystick. Does the CH Pro Throttle USB work as a stand-alone throttle, or do you need to also have a CH Fighterstick USB hooked up in order for the CH Pro Throttle USB to work? Currently I have an old Thrustmaster Throttle that is about to retire from old age. I think it lasted almost 10 years. :aok

Yes the CHPro Throttle USB is stand alone.
With the CH software it can be combined with other CH USB componenets to make a single unit.
I am extremely pleased with CH Products and their service!
I've been very generously treated by CH Products! Yes the CH stuff cost you but so far I've been treated respectfully and with consideration. Even got repairs for $6.00 S&H after the warrenty ran out! The guy listed below even called me at home re my problem! Tested the equipment himself before returning it too!
I have a CH Pro Throttle USB, a CH F16 Fighterstick analog, and CH pedals analog. CH says analog and USB don't work together but they're workin great for me and I believe for several others that are in this sim. When my budget allows I'm going all CHPro USB.
I recommend CH Products to anyone! IMHO they're the best!

I used the CH Pro USB throttle with a MSFF2 stick before I went all CH.

Thanks DJ229. Did you have any compatibility issues using the two?

kool
just got one myself if ya see a couple of posts down.
took alittle while to program, got all the buttons and hats working.
Just cant get the ministick or the throttle itself to work YET.
still working on it though.

I use a Saitek X45 joystick/throttle combo, with the CH Pro Pedals USB.
The only thing I had to watch to get them to coexist peacefully is to make sure I don't plug them both into the same USB hub.
I'm planning on moving to the CH throttle and fighterstick as soon as I can afford them. :)

I still have my MSFF2 stick plugged into the same powered hub as my 3 CH controllers with no problems. The MSFF2 still shows as available in AH but I don't have any axis/functions assigned to it. There were no issues using MSFF2 and CH USB Pro throttle together in AH.

Doobs did you catch what I posted about the mini stick in the other thread? If you want to use it as a mouse or mouse view I can show you how. It's really simple.

cobra did as you said with mini stick, still didn't work no biggie.
more concerned with getting the throotle to work over the sticks throttle.
