Title: odd structures -possibly feild guns?

Also on the shore batterys - sometimes it's as if the shell hits an invisible wall right when you fire it. There an explosion right at the end of the gun, but no shell tracer or round impact.

I was seeing something that appeared similar but was coming from the radio tower on the side of the field.  It was drawing a large black/grey poly up into the sky.  Have a pic somewhere, nowhere to post right now though.
