I seem to recall that you guys were working on better looking beaches, instead of the green extending right up to the coastline.
Was this idea abandoned, or is it just a low priority? Personally I expected to see the new beaches when HT mentioned that the terrains were gonna be changed. It'd really add a lot to how the terrain looks if we could see white sand shores adjacent to watertiles. :)

That should go into effect about the same time as the water actually gets depth. Then we could have picnics on the beach, go swimming..........collect seashells by the seashore...............

And the pt's will finally have a good use...
...fishing!

be cool to bury your plane in the soft sand when making emergency landings :D
while the wet part of sand easier to land on :D
-
That would be cool, the sand aspect.:aok
-
And if you get bored of flying and killing everything that moves, you could always go to the beach to make some purty sandcakes. :p :)
But seriously, i have waited those better beachlines also for a long time.

lack of beach transition is the worst aspect of a very cool terrain system in AH2

Yes, we do need better looking beeches! I saw some beeches the other day who were extremely trashy and overweight. No self-respecting male would have anything to do with those beeches.
Not enough good looking beeches play this game. I think HTC needs to advertise on channels that the beeches watch.

Yea get kinda tired of looking at green shore lines by oceans. Be nice to have beaches, cuz then we could all play vollyball on the beach and get some girls, and watch the sharks eat Frank. And it make it easier for LVTs to get on the beach with out going up on the land then dipping back in the water, back on land, in water, land, water.
-
Beaches used to be in the game. They dissapeared along with night and real weather!
-
Seriously though, I think they got rid of them because there was a bug where LVTs would get stuck on them. I'm not sure what kind of texture was associated with the sand, but whatever it was caused vehicles to get stuck easily.

Will we have a nudist beach too?

Or baywatch?!
