This has bugged me since vox was first put out.
I'll be yanking and banking, trying to cut the angles, and some yahoo will vox in with a lame comment and leave his mic open. Now I have virtually no sounds at all, can't tell that I've hit a stall or can't hear the pings soon enough to break.
Is it my sound card not having enough channels that causes this or what?
I'd like to have a way to prioritize the sounds versus the vox channel. I should ALWAYS be able to hear the stall horn and hit sounds, period. If that means I have to listen to all sounds over the vox transmissions, then so be it.
Ouch out.

there is that option in game already...
goto setup / preferences / voice
there is a slider called "effect"
all the way to the left the game sounds "duck" 100% when vox is keyed up
all the way to the right the games sounds do not alter in any way.
hope that helps

I see 2 sliders in there, 1 is unnamed and the other is named Master volume. Both are all the way to the right. I cant hear a thing except vox when vox is keyed.

Me too, I absolutely HATE it when vox cuts out all other sounds. I am very dependent on in-game sounds for input in all games I play.
