Title: Is there supposed to be a Tiger on the runway?

Went offline to check something.  Lined up on on the E-W runway going west.  Looked up and liked that it was a 190, 38, B24 and 51 overhead, not just 51s.

Fired up the old 38G and started rolling.  Noticed the T34 off to my left and BAM!  Plane crashed.

Didn't notice the Tiger I sitting dead center on the E-W runway.  I hit him head on :)

Is he supposed to really be there?

Who doesn't need obstacles on the runway to help with his augering skills :)

Yup - Pyro stated this in the announcement section re: the latest patch.  Actually, he said that there were different A/C/ drones to shoot at, but i don't recall seeng anything about GV's.....
BTW - I also saw a T-34 somewhere there, but i don't remember where it was.

Ya Panzer, Tiger, And T-34 are set-up stationary now in offline mode.  All are scattered about the field.  Nice addition..now I can practice gunnery with a tank.

Thats odd, I tried it last night and got the usual p51s and no taknks, I thought I had it set up wrong.  Does it only work on certian maps?:confused:

This addition of the tanks was part of the 2.03 patch #1.. did you download that yet?

I have no problem with the tanks being there other then is the Tiger supposed to be sitting in the center of a runway?

Kinda defeats the purpose of the runway don't ya think? :)

It wasnt on the runway in the 2 terrains I loaded up.  Mabey the spawn point for the tiger only falls on the runway in a particular field type/orientation.

No clue but he's still there on that E-W runway.  Had to full flap, short field take off to get over him.

Claimes to be Skuzzy too according to the film viewer.  Figures don't it? :)

Jeez Gup, what's the problem?  You cleared him by a mile in

ooh,ooh.. I wanna be the first to scratch skuzzy's tiger after he gets done waxing it!!! stuka bomb make your tiger real pretty :D

Skuzzy will be gone quicker if you drop grunts near the tank, they help waxing it.

Any chance of having an offline are whith a bit of AI maybe some practice missions or something. Like a dogfight practice a bombing practice a troop drop GV etc. Currently offline is kind of unchallenging! When the modem goes down the game is not worth playing!

Just a thought? what say you hitech people!?
