Title: Historical Warships
Post by: Oddball-CAF on April 18, 2005, 04:58:35 AM
This one's for "HTC" really.
Isn't there any way that various warship -types- can be implemented into AH2 so that when scenarios such as "Coral Sea", "Midway", etc..are put together that fleets other than "generic" could be put together?
I'm certain that this would require a bit of work on HTC's part, but with the Pacific theater being entirely about naval warfare, this would be a wonderful first step in allowing CMs to put together a non-cobbled task force(s) as well as providing a much more historically correct playing field for the hundreds of participants.

Hear, hear! And while they're at it, HTC might look into the
dismal film capture capability when it comes to ships, etc.

My entire Coral Sea Frame 2 film shows nothing but empty
ocean whilst I was on the bridge fending off numerous
torpedo attacks....

If you had popped up on deck in a plane - I wonder what the film would have recorded ?

Wonder if it is different from a gunner spot or the hanger ?

But getting it to work right from the tower would be a big help.
