Title: Film Viewer is BUGGY big time for me
Post by: Morpheus on April 19, 2005, 12:12:59 AM
The thing now has a mind of its own.

Even more so then before.

Its flipping out trying with the new terrain on the old films.

So trees that weren't there before are there and when my plane goes through them it acts up. Crashes... OR just gets into slow motion... And craps out

Text doesnt show up right.

Vox isnt playing

This may be just for me.

But i didnt know where else to put this.

Im not sure I completely understand your problem, so Ill answer it the way i think your asking.
I believe there was an announcement with the latest viewer that stated it is not compatible with any films prior to the new filmviewer.

I'm not sure what you dont understand to be honest.

What's not working right is listed above.

Furthermore the thing just runs how it wants to many times.

The whole update thing is news to me.

You mean to tell me that after this 2.03 patch all the films I have aren't compatable?

Compatable in what ways?

That is news to me.

I've already had to ditch many of my films due to one update.

Anyone at HTC...?

Can someone at HTC please let me know if they have also seen any problems with the F/V as a result of the latest patch.

I cannot get mine to work properly.

Most of my issues with it are listed above.

Thanks.

The "understand completely" remark was regarding I didn't know if you were referring to attempting to playback films that you had recorded since the 2.03 update, or ones that are prior to 2.03.  I could be wrong regarding the compatibility, just remember reading something about a compatibility issue with the new version..may not be with the film viewer, but I thought it was.
 It was the skin viewer..disregard

AYE!

Talk about anoying Roo.

I had alot of great films with some good fights on the deck.

now all you see is me flying through trees with hit sprites showing on the trees when I shoot and then a big fire ball when I get a kill.

Not  happy.

:(

Same problems you mentioned, Morph.

I can't get any vox to play, even on the new vids, so no, you're not the only one with these problems.
