Title: Host error

For some reason i'm not able to access the game online.... all i get is unable to connect to host.  Anybody else having the same problem....or any ideas why i'm getting this?

If using a router, it might not be letting AH2 through. Same with a firewall, you have to allow AH2 to pass through as a known good program and not mal-ware trying to do something bad.
I assume web surfing and e-mails work ok, so the actual connection should be ok. If those aren't then we have to look at the connection to the net itself.

Are you behind a firewall?  If so, you need to allow Aces High through the firewall.  Each time Aces High II gets an update, you will need to re-allow the game back through the firewall.

After doing this many times, you may find you need to purge all the old Aces High II entries.

long ago, I had that so now, before I sign on after I have installed a new update patch, I go to zone alarm and remove the old entry of AH2.  then when ZA pops up asking for me to allow or deny the connect I just type ry and all is good again , for me keeps it short and simple.......YMMV

thx all i got the problem fixed.  it was the windows firewall holding me back.  thanks again
