Does that mean that he flip-flops alot?

No did I say he flip flops? He changed his life for the better as a youth. Remember your days as a youth?

Two popes in a row the Eye-Tai's are screwed over.
Although he DID work an AA battery, thats badarse.
-
Unless it's in the same sense that (some person)'s sister 'works the parking lot at the truck stop', yes.
-
He's a local! A Bavarian!
-
He just turned 78 years old. They'll be doing all of this again in a few years.
-
Thats good. Not enough "breaking news" these days.

I think that's the idea behind selecting him.....a transitional pope.
I don't understand at what point he becomes "holy". No man can be holy, so that phrase (holy father) kinda rubs me the wrong way and always has.
-
Me too Nuke.
Plus, my fellow members of the Illuninatt......errr nevermind.
;)
-
I think he was one of the most senior Cardinals to the Pope...

Our editor said he's disappointed in the choice, however. Seems one of the candidates was a cardinal from Italy named Sicola.
That would have given us PopeSicola :)
culero (yes, ~groan~)

He spent his whole life working up to this job. Dont fault him for being a slow achiever, even if he did have to take off his socks to count up to 16

woah, a german pope for the holy german, what will us stop now?! ;)
