St. Malachy (http://www.newagedirectory.com/pro/malachy.htm)
kinda creepy actually..... There are a bunch of sites with information on this. The one posted is just the first once I came across.

and the Mayan calander runs out soon too as well.

I thought about it yesterday and did a search.
Just out of sheer boredom. I did come across something mentioning that he'll be of the Order of St Benedict for the whatever Olives pope. Found it interesting when they gave him his name.
But the church is prolly just ****ing with us.

yes , when the key master finds the gate keeper there will be great distress among the sheep.

Bunch of Rubbish. just 2 minutes of investigation.
John XXIII 1958 - 1963 Angelo Gueseppe Roncalli
Pastor Et Natua (Pastor and mariner)
Was never a mariner.
John Paul I 1978 - 1978
De Medietate Lunae (Of the half moon)
Note: This pope who was unpopular with the curia, lasted only 34 days
34 days is longer than a half moon.
This guys theories on the end of the world are nutty as hell.

On a lighter note, I hope tomarrow is Judgement Day, then I dont have to go to work, I can't call in sick even though I really am, cause one guy did already, and the new chick its not even her 2nd day has also called in sick

I cant wait to see the posts we got on here when armageddon does show up.
I liken Mr. Malachy's predictions to those of the all mighty Nostradamus, basically he makes alot of fairly vague references that can be put into any context.

Great, just what we need.
A bunch of BBS posts whining about a huge meteor hit and the political ramifications of Kerry being a flip flopper.

bah screw it callig in sick Judgement Day or no, that just woulda been convienent

The next thing to happen, according the bible reguarding "end times" is the rapture of the church.
If all of a sudden millions of people and every child on earth are missing in the blink of an eye.....I'd say it's time to repent.

And remember..better to suffer than to take the mark of the beast. Since supposedly those that are left behind after the rapture will only be able to live a normal day to day life if they take the mark. But it only lasts for 7 years..no sweat right?

yeah but what is funny is that in Judaism The Temple on the mount gets rebuilt and The World government will be centered in Isreal and the Messiah comes back to lead them. But then again they only believe in the Torah not the rest of it.
So guess thats just the christian point of view on the end of the world.

What's interesting is that is not much different than the christian version except the govt being based in babylon.
