Title: B-Spec mode in GT4 2 Player

Now in the manual it says that you can play 2 player in B-spec mode but I can't seem to figure out how to do that.  The manual says after you pick your cars it takes you to the race start screen and you can pick between a-spec and b-spec but I sure don't see anything but a start button.  Anybody know what the deal is?
