Boeing 787 Dreamliner Program Celebrates Launch Anniversary
SEATTLE, April 26, 2005 -- The Boeing [NYSE: BA] 787 Dreamliner program today celebrates the completion of its first year since launch. During the last 12 months, the program has attracted unprecedented demand led by the historic first order for 50 airplanes from Japan's ANA (All Nippon Airways).

Boeing hasn't built a truly inovative airliner since the 767.

Blech. It looks like they took away most of the cool looking shapes that made the 7E7 concept so intersting...

They all look alike, and now the Yawn-liner looks like one of them too. At least the concept had some cool shapes like the nose and tail and a different windscreen design to set it apart from any of the post 1970s planes.
