Title: Recording AH footage
Post by: CyranoAH on June 05, 2001, 09:13:00 AM
Greetings,

after watching Hblair's videos, I have one question to ask... is there another way to record AH "footage" to an avi file other than connecting the TV-out of your video card to a video-capture card?
It looses a lot of quality that way (and adds a black frame around the film).

Thanks for any help.

not unless you have a dual 1ghz system with 700+ of RAM and a damn powerful vid card (high end geforce2 or better?)

If you do, say so, I can give you links to programs that will let you do that.

Only got the GeForce2 bit, but ram is getting cheaper by the hour, so go ahead!  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Are you talking about Hypercam? Tried that one, but it's quite limited (and I can't get it to record any sounds!)

Thanks for any advice!
