I wish there was a command where it would save each sortie on film, rather than the alt r command we have now.
Press Alt S and it starts recording, when the sortie ends and you exit you should get a pop up asking for a filename or a discard option. Or even just being able to do a .filename xx command.
Then when you reup, filming automatically starts again.
If you record with the current system it is very hard to find the right films and what you are looking for in that film.

People, sheesh! It's NOT that hard to review your films. Heck you don't even have to open the film viewer first (like in AH1), the file association works! Double click the file and view it!
Even if you had that option, you still have to review the film files, or your films folder builds up. I let mine go once and had to go in and weed out 30 files (no lie). Just make a habit of checking the film folder the day after you record a few.

Not everyone wants to sift through all their films for one moment.
I film every sortie because of bugs and to keep decent fights. The others i do not care about. I dont record "just a few", having the option to name the file would help immensely when trying to find those films i want to keep, or a discard function - even better!

I agree with the discard function. Like, while the film is still rolling, instead of toggling record OFF, you have a CANCEL RECORD that will actually delete the file and re-use the film name. That would be handy

This is a very good idea.
