Title: The Beer Diet

The Portuguese Association of Beer Producers is passing out fliers to gym patrons to "draw attention to some less well-known aspects of beer, such as its agricultural origins, its nutritional value and health benefits when drunk in moderation and responsibly."

"Forget the myth of the 'beer gut' because it is just that: a myth," it reads.

Beer is a good source of magnesium and fibre and helps prevent diabetes, dementia, cholesterol and osteoporosis.

I'll drink to that...:aok

How can you be 'drunk in moderation'?  Your either drunk or not.  Who the heck would be 'moderately' drunk?

Honey,..I am not drunk,..I am moderately drunk,..dig bifference!

I'm not shure, but a certain father of mine can live on beer for weeks, without food, so it must have some life sustaining properties.

As a college student and frat boy, beer is healthy as it stimulates the mind for social engagements and dancing up on scantily-clad women in dark bars with loud thumping music.

Ahh, maybe you havn't had any good beer yet.  I don't drink alot, but I am fond of trying new beers. Right now I'm really liking the Irish reds and German dunkels. Of course I cannot turn down a nice Bavarian Weiss (especially when eating pizza). You should check out a local brewery. You might learn some cool stuff.  I will admit that most convenience store beer tastes like crap, but real beer tastes like candy. It's also funny how beer with higher alcohol content tastes so much better.

Besides all that, wine drinkers are *******!
