Take the side off your computer case.  Point your finger at the video chipset.  Look straight down your finger like you are aiming a gun.

Now you can see the problem.

I can see smart bellybutton remarks on channel 200 or in the General Forum section, but this is an area where frustated people come for answers, not fuel on a burning situation!!!!!

Sounds like an onboard video chip, which is what Star is alluding to.

Jetb in your video settings try this.

Set resolution to 1024X768
Set Max texture size to 128

Put a check in the box that says preload in system memory.

Once in game set all sliders to performance

I have this running on my laptop (with a sis650 graphic controller). Low frame rates but can play on the laptop if its not a busy field.  So I suspect we can probably get you at least playable with your current system.

Try it and see if it helps you at all.

Jet, you list a 5200 as your vid card? I will NOT assume this is onboard. If it is all posted remarks apply. If it is not make sure you have the 61.77 drivers installed. As has been stated enumerous times here these are the proper drivers for pre 6x nVidia cards.

Once you do this set your vidio sliders to default in game, see how it works and adjust accordingly.

Duh!  Thanks Clifra, I failed to notice the video card in his signature.

Then yes, the 61.77 drivers are probably the cure for the problem, unless the video cardis being over-extended.  NVidia does a nasty thing when they get over-loaded.  They simply ignore drawing the texture.
For the 5200, you need to make sure you are using 256 as the maximum texture size and no anti-aliasing or anisotropic filtering.

Those are his "soon to be" specs, if you look just above.  Right now he has an onboard video chip.  And he already knows its a problem, he's been told that many times before.  Thats why I replied in a joking manner.  And since I already knew he was either building or having built another computer (his "soon to be" system in his sig), I didnt figure he would mind me poking fun at it.  Since I havent heard a complaint from Jet, I'm assuming he took it in the spirit it was meant and got a laugh too.
