Title: Passenger's Plane Superimposed
Post by: Bullethead on April 29, 2005, 11:37:37 PM
Last night, 1 of my squaddies took somebody along as a passenger on one of our sorties.  Once airborne, we noticed the problem:  The passenger apparently brought his previous ride along with him.  We were flying Jugs, but the guy with the passenger had a Mossie occupying the same space.

This superimposed Mossie was visible to everybody else flying in the formation, and also to the guy with the passenger.  IOW, it was 2 plane models stuck together at the cockpits, the Jug with the squad-colored icon and the Mossie with the green icon.

Never seen this happen with buff gunners.  So maybe it's because the passenger didn't have a crew position of his own in the Jug?

Here is a screen shot of the film viewer.  Bazzi accepted a Join request from CWW3.  If the film would help, I can send it.

You coulda done better than that, Gunner. Did you know you can click on the names of guys in the list there in the film viewer, and it transfers your POV to that plane?  Then you could have gotten a good close-up :D.

The bug's been around a long time in the H2H areas. Not sure about the official ones though.
