OOPs saw that the 1 was infront of the cross im gunna fix that now lol, does anyone have a good pic of what it says on the side of the plane?
-
I agree, it probably is your best work yet. But you may want to lighten up on the rivits a little, there's a good amount but they are a little too visible. Also, the red underside could use a little more weathering or slight variations in color. But good job anyways
-
Looks good but you need to try to get the white stripes to extend past the wing roots and along the fuselage. Give it a shot. Maybe a very thin white line on each side that will stretch to the proper width. Trial and error, but it should be doable.
-
yea thats the reason i didnt do it, EXTREME STRECHING
-
missing tail numbers but looks good and the writing on the side

ok added the wording on the side and the numbers at the top(makes it look so much better) im gunna leave the white lines on the bottom because after testing there is major streching goin on there, it looks fine though.

Black or green, which is it?
-
It is supposed to be green (GrauGrun) and dark green (DunkelGrun). I see numerous inaccuracies with the camo, but the weathering looks excellent.
See Blixen's plane, those are the correct color for this squad.
I have to ask...why you guys are not posting these in the "skins being worked on" thread? It was placed there to avoid having multiple folks working on the same plane.

lol i posted that i was gunna do this skin when the New 190 came out (check the board about 3 pages back)

I must be missing something, your skin is not green like the templates, but nearly black.
-
fantastic work... purely fantastic... the level of detail on the "hood" is just amazing...
Though what I miss on alot of skins is that they, while weathered, are kind of "clean". More use of oilleaks and visible repair jobs.
Personally I love how Knite has done both these things on his B24s. Not only do they look weathered but they look worn out and dirty as well.
