Just hope all you guys that live up there are ok. scary stuff
As most of you know, I live in Southwestern VA (the GREATEST STATE IN THE UNION!!!!!) anyway, if a 6.5 earthquake hit washington D.C., the shockwave would do MAJOR damage all around. According to the report, if it did happen, Martinsville (our city) would be TOTALY leveled. Reason is 85% of the home's built here are made of brick, so one big crack and thats it. REALLY scary (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/frown.gif) The house I live in is almost 90 years old. It has surived Tornados, Blizzards, Floods (we live less than 1000 feet from a river), and hurricanes with little or no damage. But a small quake and this house is gone. I hope we never have a large quake on the east coast, I wouldn't be able to play AH for a loong while.

I live in Oregon, we felt the quake here too.
It's a good thing it wasn't farther south, the building I was in is not supposed to withstand >5.1 quake without major damage.
