I won't post the pic because it's on another site but check out this P38 L

I actually saw it in a listing for IL2 skins, but didn't see a picture of the skin itself, just this wonderful artwork. It had this caption:
"This skin, named Haleakala, represents one of the P38J flown by H.H. "Lighthorse Harry" Sealy.
This plane flew with the 459th Fighter Squadron, out of Chittabong, over India."

Interestingly enough, that 'J' has the light in the wing root, like an L.
Probably a mistake on the artist's part, I'm much rather trust real photos than any artist.

It was a J, mistake by artist, although I believe Haleakala II might have been an L.

My understanding is it was a P38J-10
