Might I add a few comments?

I might take the red down to a dull roar. I doubt they could get such vibrant colors back then :)

Also I'd tone down the panel lines a bit. They seem to be on full opacity. General reactions have been that people like subtle panel lines.

I think you have a great start there!

The panel and rivet lines are too strong and not adapted to the different camo colors.
Look at some WWII pictures or modern repainted museum exhibits, you'll have a better idea.
I wouldn't submit it as it is.

I'll second the neon red comment, the color of the "13" seems okay (might be the shadow though, hard to tell) but the "walk here" and the Reich Defense band are far too bright.

You should look at the better Il2 skins (hammerd, etc) too.
