Title: Goaly’s Plywood Pooch is on the road again!
Post by: G0ALY on May 04, 2005, 07:39:43 PM
Howdy All! Since I travel 400 miles a week, and I’ve noticed a distinct lack of happiness on America’s highways. In order to improve the smiles per miles ratio, every year since 1992 I’ve had a plywood dog in the back of my truck. It seems to work… I get a lot of thumbs up & smiles.

The dog is put away every winter in order not to offend the ASPCPA (American Society to Prevent Cruelty to Plywood Animals).  This is the 3rd year for this particular dog named, “Sandy” (because of the rough piece of scrap wood she was cut from) and that’s just about as long as they last.

The guys at work were getting on me to get a dog on the road, so after a quick touchup… Here she is!

Happy motoring!

I love it.

Can you make one for me? I will pay shipping and a resonable amount for your time and effort.

Could use a few more smiles up here as well

Bring that to So. Cal. and it'll have 9mm holes in it.

But I like it.

I once saw a baby tacked on to a board on the back of a truck.

I guess the joke was "baby on board."

It was pretty morbid though.
