Skuzzy, just looking at my specs, could you give me some tips for setting up ah, and my 3d settings, that would run the best.

1280x1024 / 1280x960
256 Maximum texture size
2x anti-aliasing
Preload textures to video ram
Preload skins

Set the distance detail slider about 25% (1/4) from maximum.

Start there and tweak from there.

not quit, takeing a break from MA

iive been in h2h fooling around lately, going by one of the defualt names, its nice to fly in free for alls there sometimes

Devlin,

I see you have an audigy 2zs sound card and you are using a motherboard with nforce3 chipset.  Were ever able to compare game performance with on board sound vs the audigy card.  The reason I ask is my system is very close to yours but I am using on board sound.  I bought the audigy 2 value installed it and got worse performance, but I noticed after the fact that the chip was not audigy 2 on the card simply just audigy.  I had to assume that this was the older chip.  From my understanding the newer chip releives the cpu of work ie' more framerate (in theory).

havent tested this board with onboard,
but i can tell you on my last chipset board, my frame rates improved a bit, by around 10fps with a sound card.

whats your specs, and have you run aquamark, to see it your video cards up to par?
