I dont think so, it would add a nice affect to the game IMO.
-
that would be interesting for a scenario
-
I dont understand what your saying. If you cant see an enemy base, then will planes just appear out of nowhere?
That question dont make any sense
-
I think he means see them on the map
Thing is I think each side pretty much knew where each others airbases were
-
Or maybe just bases that have been spotted?
-
"Should we be able to see enemy bases?"
For this GAME=yes.
:) :) :p
-
maybe so, but if one plane flys over it will pop up on the map and stay there.
id be one of the first to run my ar234 recon over the whole map for my side
;)

Now this idea wouldnt be a bad one if the bases were randomly placed on the map each time.
Meaning each time a map comes up in its rotation the bases are placed in a different spot randomly.
Might add interesting twist. And perhaps instead of simply flying over a map to report it and thus have it come up on the map you would have to photo it,RTB and land successfully. Otherwise its just known about through word of mouth.
Better yet. Have it so it has to be spotted by a PBY or Cessna scout plane (to avoid that whole 234 thing):)
Dont know if its doable but it would definately be interesting
-
that would definitely piss the toolshed hunters off.....
im all for it!

ar234 was a recon plane. the tail gun positions could be fitted with cameras, so im not sure why you against that ;)

to be fair the toolsheders have been punished enough
a bish HQ raid just to rookland is the prove. You have to make large formations to even damage the HQ... But once HQ is down its back up before the bombers have even done there turn back home.. thats BS
Normal strat has too little effect also...

Why not just put the fog of war on the map like RTS games? And in order to get planes, we need players to constantly send out harvesters and clicking SPIT SPIT SPIT SPIT 109 109 109 109 109 P-51 buttons
-
And enemy planes too. No red icons, no plane ID. That and invisible bases might be cool. Oh and at night in the winter too.
Peace
