Bout the same as mine 35ish fps 2.00 gighz, 1 meg ram, 9800 pro default settings except for distance dialed low.

You guy s are lucky, I get anywhere near a furball or a feild anymore and my FPS drops to the low teens.

Or even into single digits on my system. What the heck happened?
Can we get an arena with the very first AH I terrains so that I can use my available framerate to fight other airplanes in the air?
I really have no use for leaves on trees.

				2200 Sempron
512meg of 2700
Fx5700 `128meg
I get in the 50's most places and 20's-30's in furballs at 1024x768 on an ancient 17".
But I slide the slider all the way to performance to achieve that.
Oh and I preload textures and skins which seemed to help.

did you do a reformat after you installed the new card? i went from a 9800pro to at x800pro and had low fps till i did a XP repair, even thou i was using the exact same driver for the both of them . If you dont want to reformat,or repair, remove the video card drivers then run driver cleaner, it a great little program that removes all reminents of the old driver. i would remove the vc, motherboard chipset , and sound driver . then reinstall all with the latest drivers. also reinstalling directX might be a good idea.GL 38

When changing from one series of card to another, or even one series of drivers to the next, same brand, I'm becoming convinced running a registry cleaner is a necessary step too.  I thought it was excessive at first, but I'm experiencing it myself.  Can make a difference.
