When flying in MA, I always like to keep Normal Icons on, as I assume others do. Sometimes, it is usefull to see what planes others are flying (such as when attacking a base, taking a field, etc, ,etc.) In order to do this, you have to manually change Icon modes. Sometimes, this is can be a bit cumbersom to guys like me who have a hard time flying AND chewing gum. Would it be usefull to have friendly icons somehow distinguish themselves? Not sure of the best way, maybe bombers have a star next to the name or something.
Just a thought

Alt-I

I know...but in a scramble hitting Alt-I get's a little cumbersom, especially if tied up... That is why I was wondering if it would be helpful to denote somehow...
Plus... I usually screw up and forget to set it back and some enemy get's on my six with no icon on and I miss them cause I don't see red....lol...

if you have a programmable stick, it is quite easy to map ctrl i
i have it mapped, and use it more that 2 times every sortie usually
mapping makes it much quicker and less cumbersome
