Probably brought up before, but what about Opening Moves Korea Summer 1950.
I was re-reading David McClaren's book "Mustangs over Korea" and it got me thinking.
You'd have LA7s, Yak9s LA5s and Sturmis as part of the North Korean AF on one side.
You'd have ROKAF Mustangs along with Aussie and USAF Mustangs, as well as F4U4s on the other. Maybe the Tempest could sub for the Sea Fury since they are similar.
It was really for the most part a Fighter bomber war so you wouldn't need heavies.
And all those guys who like to go really fast would have opponants that could go just as fast.
If we could get the skinners to do some Korean Skins it would be even better.
Maybe a map with lots of mountains too?
Might be fun?

I thought about that but with all the whining happening over the soccer wars and israeli independence set ups I never suggested it.
What we would need is the map. I would bet this would be a well played week. damned shame we have no A26 invader with the 8 nose gun package.

Sounds good to me.

Ah well.
I already made a suggest on Korean War for CT from last year, but I don't see anything happen.

It was actually ran one time Rafe. Before your time maybe. It kind of went the same way that the Soccer War did. People whined and cried on the BBS all week, but the place had good numbers all week. Now people piss and moan about basic set ups and the place is empty. Go figure.

So try again and ignore the whiners? :)

I remember Soccer War very well that it was Reschke idea (Pretty sure it was his idea and some people also help out) and it was alot fun, but some guys whine about the planeset, etc etc.....who give damn about them?
I would like to see SW return any day, but I didn't subscribe AH again.

Now how can you be sure the number rise wasn't just CT irregulars stopping in for an unusual setup? And that the setup didn't have an influence in driving off the WWII historical-based squadrons that were the backbone of the population in the CT? That would lead you to make one of two decisions. Keep the CT as Historical as possible, even more so than now, and hope for the return of the squadrons. Or completely mix it up and attract a new "breed" of CT.
Just throwing that out there to be the "devil's advocate" and stir a little debate. :-)
Sometimes it's how ya spin things.
