Sorry for the quality, I had to record my screen with my camera. I took the GTO for a drifting cession ... want to see u do that on GT4 with the accel pedal.
More abuse (11 meg) (http://www.56thfightergroup.com/members/frenchy/gto1.mpg)
Abusing the GTO (16meg) (http://www.56thfightergroup.com/members/frenchy/gto2.mpg)

WHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW WWWWW
not just an XBOX but a FF wheel too! it wouldnt be fun if you didnt have the force feed bad wheel too!

1969 GTO. The F-100 of Muscle Cars. Now, if Pontiac had used that car as it's inspiration stylistically for the new GTO I am sure there would be a waiting list for the new GTO.
That games looks incredible. I may buy it on the way home from work today. Thanks for the vids!!

For a quick review I posted:

Is anyone racing LFS2?
-
I'm trying to picture how this works. I mean I've played NCR on a computer with a bunch of different pedal/wheel setups, but how does that work on XBox? You have a seperate TV on a desk or something, or are you sitting on the couch with a game controller?
-
Moot I've raced some but with *cough* keyboard so .. :)
-
Think "Sim Pit". Playseat (http://www.dot2shop.com/detail.asp?s=58&id=17492) I have one similar to this I built myself.
-
Yeah, the cars are dead stock and not too powerful, so it's a little numb.
Can't imagine it'd be much fun, in addition to that, to race against others with the handicap of just a mouse and/or keyboard, though.
If you do have at least a gamepad (I picked up an xbox controller and changed the connector to usb in 5min.), it's not too bad. Only bother is I haven't found a way to make the trigger analogs separate axes so as to have brake and gas separate.
There's a new tire model patch sometime in the near future.
It should be at least as good as GTR, in terms of gameplay, when it comes out.
Tried the S1 full game, and it's promising.

Frenchy are those clips running at actual speed? It looks like you take those turns really fast that kind of car.

Really? Look at this.

Holly banana Daisy!

Funked, u are right, i haven't noticed the lack of body roll. Gt4 didn't do it for me because of the lack drift capacity from the rear wheel drive cars:o
Forza gives me a good feeling close enought from what i feel when i goof around with my pontiac, or when I used to hill race with my little manta/corsa in France.
At any rate, those are only games, runing 8 min at Nurbering in a m3 GTR thinking you are as good as Muller would be as foolish as thinking you are better than Gallant because you just shot down 3 LA7s with a me109g2.
-
damnit man, i nearly choked on the drrooolll.

Is that done with CG? Seems like the other cars don't even touch their brakes when he goes flying around them.

Its hell to play with just the Xbox controllers. My son picked it up last week with his savings and he loves running around in the 350Z. It looks great but then I have only seen how GT4 looks in screenshots. I may have to get a steering wheel for my son or either have someone give me the way to change it over to a USB connector and buy a new wheel for my racing games and give my Logitech FF setup to him.

Only way you can get FF on the Xbox is the Fanatec Speedster 3. It's not true FF though, as the Xbox can't do true FF. I have the DFP and GT4 for the PS2, but I don't play it at all. The Fanatec is a quality wheel.. I'd give the DFP a 10/10 and the Speedster a 9.5/10. Paddle shifters are a little wonky and 270^ radius just isn't as nice as the 900^ and true FF. But it's close enough for me to enjoy Forza a lot more than GT4.

XB controllers are wired USB, with an unused yellow wire, which i guess is Ground.
