As with everything, your mileage may vary.

On the whole I have personally in the last year tried both Waffles & Mitsu's.

Both bring a lot of cool stuff, and increased immersion to the game.

Both have some parts they do better than
the others.  If I had  to choose between one or the other I'd have to say Mitsu's, but by a very narrow margin.

i mis and munge personally.

i installed waffle's then installed mitsu's to a dummy directory, i added spades, HTC defaults, and a few others, then mixed the best of the all.

it's not that hard to do. playing, you say EWW i don6t like that sound, and try someone else's

For clarity of sound, I'd recommend Waffle's sound pack.  I just love the P-38 engine sounds he put in it.

I like Mitsu's personally, a few sounds aren't "perfect" but overall really good.

Waffle's sounds are good too!

Kudos to both for sharing:aok

I have downloaded just about every sound pack available.

From there I pick and choose the sounds I prefer and compile them into the folder.

That's the great thing about sound packs, you have a huge variety to select from.

to Mitsu, Waffle and Fruda for their efforts.

My regards,

Widewing

Check the Custom Sounds and Skins (http://www.hitechcreations.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=71) forum, there should be some (=3?) sticky threads with the soundpacks. I've been using the Mitsu soundpack, but I have the Waffle pack on the laptop I occasionally use to play, both are IMO better than the regular sounds. But I like Mitsu's soundpack better (the one I've got used to...) Spade's soundpack I haven't tried yet.

Thats exactly what I do ... a "blend" is best.  Waffle's 38 sound is the best tho ... such a relaxing hum ... of PURE POWER.
