That's actually an SDB demo.  Small Diameter Bomb.  Only weighs about 250 lbs.  It's not designed specifically to be a "bunker buster", but with the right fuze and bomb casing it will obviously do a good job against a dirt covered concrete aircraft shelter.

That was pretty cool.

Ya know, the more I see our high-tech weapons in action, the more inclined I am to think the more obsolete they are in today's combat environment.  

For the first time in a long time I think the Navy has lost direction.  The last 2 years of Proceedings magazine have been nothing but "What do we do know?" themed articles in regards to its role in the war on terror.  

Our new catch word is "littoral".
