Texmurphy asked me to do another camouflaged Hellcat, minus the D Day stripes. I've been a bit busy lately, but its up at The Skin Department (http://www.ah-skins.com/index.php) now. This one is based on the profile below. Due to the mirroring however, I've had to change the squadron code letter.

Beautiful job as always, Greebo. Though I don't see the grey blue clearly either - but it may be my monitor. Also is the '0' a tad large compared to the profile?

Fleet Air Arm colours are one of those grey areas (no pun intended). :) The various US manufacturers all used different interpretations of the FAA shades. For example Grumman mixed paint to FAA specs, but General Motors license built Grummans used the nearest USAAF colours, olive drab etc.
Having said that, I found this nice colour shot of a factory fresh Hellcat MkI. I've adjusted the colours and the roundels to match the photo. Also I've shrunk the O a bit. Thanks for the feedback guys.
