I think that was intentional bat. Although, it does look kinda odd.

Didn't you guys know that spit gear are like shark's teeth?
One set falls out, then the next pop up from behind ;)
-
Its a limitation of quite a few of the older models.
You have to 'draw' the undercarriage on the lower wing as when the 'real' UC folds up it vanishes.
I hope it is fixed when the Spits are remodelled.

lol i never noticed the wheel, united knows what i mean.
did Seafires under US squadrons and markings have Roudles underside and the Star and bar up sides?
-
Ah I see -
They weren't U.S. squadrons, they were Seafires flown by RAF pilots during Operation Torch.
The stars were put on to try and avoid friendly fire incidents, esp from the F4F pilots.

Yep, thats what I was talking about. I knew the gear incident and knew there was nothing Kev could do about it. :)
When the new models come out, though, it won't be a problem.

I think part of the idea behind the stars was that the Vichy French would be less inclined to shoot at US aircraft than British ones.
After the Armistice in 1940, the Royal Navy sank a large part of the French fleet in North Africa to prevent its possible use by the Nazis. This caused a lot of bad feeling against the British, particularly in the Vichy military.
In the event the Vichy French shot at US aircraft just as much as British ones anyway.
