Is anyone successfully using Blender 2.36 to import and export AC3D files?
I can't seem to get the import function to work. :(

I'm using 2.36 and have no problems at all importing or exporting .ac files. It may be a problem with the specific .ac file.

I must be doing something wrong then. I try to import twr0.ac and get this error "invalid literal for int(): 0.849185".
I know that isn't an integer, but something is amiss. :(
-
NHawk - something is indeed amiss: 0.849185 is a float not an int. Your twr0.ac is a modified AH object?

Nope, the standard export of twr0.
I just tried twrv0 also with the same result.
The only thing I can think of is the import script is looking for an integer value for some reason when it shouldn't. I'm using the import script that comes with Blender.

just tried the same thing - same error as you're getting. AC files from other resources import fine. Could be a problem with the OE...
Sorry, I don't have a solution for this at the moment :(

I just tried importing rwy1 and that came in without a problem. There's something different between the two files.

I imported the object into AC3D and it imported fine so it isn't the object file. I haven't had a look at the blender script (and likely won't for awhile) but I suspect that's where the problem is. I can't think of a quick and easy work around for this but you might try googling for another blender script to import ac files.
