This is my favorite nose art from WW2.  I think it's a great name for a P51 as lots of pilots fell under her spell :)

The art itself isn't bad either.

I suppose if I was going with my AH2 name I'd use the nose art from Corky Smith's 80th Headhunter's P38 "CorkyJr" where I took the name from :)

I haven't had the time to work on it yet, but I've had the idea in my head for years.

A Cherokee warrior on an Appaloosa stallion, no big head dress (pony tail and headband), just deerskin pants and mocassin boots, with a rifle in one hand, and an Indian woman in a short (revealing, like a Varga girl type dress) deerskin dress with long black hair.

And "Renegade Savage" in black and gold lettering.

Always thought it'd look good on either a natural or OD P-38.

Being part Cherokee, the "Savage" nickname has been with me for 25 years or so.

Picture of a Lakota Indian woman with long black hair in buckskin pants and those tight yummy buckskin boots firing a bow and the words Hoka Hey.

Had something like that on my B-17 in the game B-17-TM8th.
