Title: My review of Star Wars E3......**WARNING SPOILERS**
Post by: Beefcake on May 18, 2005, 01:53:07 AM
Well after seeing it twice on Tuesday, I figured I would tell you guys a little about it so you could make up your minds on weather to see it or not.

***BE WARNED!!!1  SPOILERS AND BAD GRAMMAR AHEAD!!!!!!!1!***

Since I'm really tried (almost 3AM here) I'm gonna post a short review.

The Good:

The Story closed alot of ties between E2 and E4.

Little Annie gets his whiny butt kicked and loses alot of limbs.

Jar-Jar is only seen for  5 seconds and has no speaking parts.

Very cool space battle and ship to ship combat.

We get to see wookies in combat.

Yoda kicks butt again.

Very nice lightsaber duels.

The Bad:

The story doesn't flow well at some parts.

The whole movie seems like a soap opera.

There is only one major space battle and it happens in the beginning.

The wookie combat scene is less than 4 minutes long.

Lot of somewhat boring dialog.

A bunch of kids (not more than 6 years old) get killed. ( And I mean alot....in one scene the massive floor of the Jedi Temple is covered with dead kids)

A cute, Tw'leik, jedi girl gets whacked.

Annie never shuts up and keeps going off on these soap opera tracks.

Ok thats all I can remember for now. Have a good night. :)

Also watch for some neat stuff. In one scene near the beginning you can see the Millenium Falcon  landing at a major spaceport.

As long as it's not as bad as the last 2 that were on HBO, that I had to change to CNN 5 minutes in.

Netflix is a go.

Or better yet, wait a few months for a real Sci-Fi movie: Serenity.

IMO the best part of the entire series are the effects, certainly not the acting or script.
